2023 VOLUNTER PROGRAM

Spend a week at our boutique stud during foaling seasonTwo of our stud mares are due to foal down on the 24th of November,  this is you chance to experience the breeding and foaling season at the stud. What is included:Daily interaction with our herd of 10 of mixed ages and abilitiesFoal handling and foal rasing interactionDaily involvement in our breeding programGroundwork and guidance of our stud ManagerAccommodation and all meals at our 4* lodgeOutrides in the beautiful Drakensberg MountainsYou will learn how to handle foals on the ground and how to interact with them, you will also be included in the breeding program and will learn your way around a free roaming herd. Your duties will include daily grooming, feeding and handling the herd. You will also have an opportunity to take part daily in training rides and outrides of younger horses. You will experience groundwork and young horse development.
